Run giveaways on your blog with ease with Rafflecopter

A few months ago a ran across a contest on a fellow blogger’s site and it was all managed through this thing called Rafflecopter.

Instead of trying to keep track of entries in 50 different places (Facebook, Twitter, blog replies, etc), Rafflecopter makes it easy by keeping all the entries from different networks in once place and helps you randomly select a winner. No more drawing names out of a hat or copying and pasting entries into a different service.

I was able to beta-test their service before they officially launched, and now they’re live for everyone!

If you have ever run a contest, sweepstakes or giveaway on your blog or if you ever plan on it in the future…you need Rafflecopter.

To help celebrate their official launch, they are giving away some cool prizes (iPads and Kindles)!

Through their cool widgets, you can enter their giveaway right from this blog post below (and see Rafflecopter in action):

My guest blog post previewing a menu for River City Brewing Company in Sacramento

When the Downtown Sacramento Partnership asked me to do a menu preview blog for their yearly Dine Downtown event, my only response was “you had me at menu”. Check the full review by clicking the post title link above!

I’m Posting every week in 2011!

I’ve decided I want to blog more. Rather than just thinking about doing it, I’m starting right now.  I will be posting on this blog once a week for all of 2011.

I know it won’t be easy, but it might be fun, inspiring, awesome and wonderful. Therefore I’m promising to make use of The DailyPost, and the community of other bloggers with similiar goals, to help me along the way, including asking for help when I need it and encouraging others when I can.

If you already read my blog, I hope you’ll encourage me with comments and likes, and good will along the way.

Signed,

®
